4. Christ the Saviour

Description:
Christ is depicted as Saviour, or Pantocrator, the almighty ruler of heaven and earth, the beginning and the end. I am the Alpha and the Omega (…) who is, and was, and is to come, the Almighty (Rev.1:8). Christ, portrayed in half-length, makes a blessing gesture with his right hand and holds an open Bible with his left. Christ wears a robe in the traditional colours red and green. This symbolizes both his divine and human nature.
